Welcome to my website, the home of all my creative design ideas! My work is shaped by movement between places, cultures, languages and communities.
I’m Ganna, a designer exploring how visual communication can help people understand one another across different experiences. My practice spans visual identities, publications, campaigns and collaborative projects, often connected to culture, community, migration and social change.
I enjoy working with material that brings together many contributions, finding a structure that makes it clear and engaging while preserving what makes each voice individual. This might mean shaping a publication, developing campaign resources or bringing words and images into an exhibition space. I consider how people will encounter the work, what they need to understand and what might invite them to explore further.
My approach is also shaped by working directly with young people. I support them in finding their feet in new communities and developing confidence, creative skills and their own ways of expressing ideas. Having lived and adapted to life in different countries and communities myself, I feel a personal connection to this process.
Working across design, communication and education means I often get to know both the material and the people behind it. That relationship helps me make thoughtful decisions about tone, context and representation. I value the conversations through which a project takes shape, from listening to early ideas to exploring possibilities together.
With a master’s degree and a PhD in information technology, I bring a technical perspective to my creative practice and remain curious about how different disciplines connect. Courses, conferences and conversations give me space to explore design, culture, education and technology, discover new approaches and bring them into my work.
